Me and Jim have had this conversation before and I'd love to get some outside opinion, and by hardest, i'm talking hard like it makes you want to destroy babies and eat their hearts out it gets you so pumped. And since this is a top 5, make them in order.

1. Rage Against The Machine - Self Titled
2. At The Drive-In - Relationship of Command
3. Pantera - Vulgar Display of Power
4. Deftones - Around The Fur
5. System of a Down - Toxicity

Please, these are all open for debate, so have at it you bastards!

my top 5 (in no particular order):

Incubus: Science
Ill Nino: Revolucion
Linkin Park: Meteora
Tenacious D : self titled
Staind: Break the Cycle

cock: those albums aint bad, but not one is top 5 in my opinion.. i would rank them around where I would rank Boy Hits Car or Nonpoint (although i admit ive never heard of At the Drive In)

i would sit here and argue with you...however it would be a waste of time. the only things you know is how to sit on your ass all day, become a failure at your uneducated life and mooch off your parents. so, shut the fuck up. people have thier own opinions. you just have no friends and saying stuff like "musically uneducated" to other people helps you believe that someone actually gives a damn about your pitiful existence. it also helps inflate your ego, which is just pathetic because we are on the bb of a band that can hardly record a coherent song and only has like 8 people that post here anyways. piss off, have fun working at a mcdonalds all your life you piece of shit.

linkin park a rock boy-band? Why? Because they are popular, and anything popular or commonly played on the radio cant be good? They write all their own songs, play amazing music... I cant imagine anyone listening to meteora all the way through and not liking it. Boy band?.. Pshhh.....

while i dont like linking park, i was in my friends car and he had it on, and i have to say it is one of the best produced albums ive ever heard. these guys are masters in the studio, just not in the songwriting department.

people get so mad on this board, wow. linkin park - best recorded album? please, listen to failure - fantastic planet, hum - downward is heavenward or deftones - around the fur, and then try and give me a debate. terry date put these guys to shame a few years ago with around the fur, nobody gets a bass drum sound like him, or a guitar tone for that matter. as for metallica and opeth, i just find it typical for a person to select so many metal bands as hard music, especially opeth or metallica, in the last 10 years i have heard much heavier stuff then metallica will ever be able to produce. that's just my piece.

HAVE YOU HEARD OPETH!? your a musician! you should know how fuckin brilliant these guys are... one cd is hardcore progressive black metal, the next is a fokly acoustic only album.

Linkin park is just a bunch of whiney over-rated morons. the lyrics are pathetic dribble of a depressed teenager. the drums are average at best, and the guitars are just the nu-metal standard crap.

as for metallica, i listed master of puppets as the hardest album. have you ever listened to the thing that should not be. that is quite possibly the heaviest fucking song with one of the most gut wrenching riffs i have ever heard.

opeth are unbelievable. Blackwater park is nothing short of amazing, then they pull out another great metal album with deliverance. finally, they release damnation. damnation is one of the finest sounding albums i have ever heard, plus it is insanely dark for being acoustic.
